All of that time spent speaking with venues, ensuring attendance, and keeping the society’s register up to date perfectly prepared me for a career as a paralegal in a fast-paced firm such as Westbrook & Holt.

I’ve always had an interest in law, but my knack for organization made it clear to me that a career as a paralegal would be my perfect fit. I’m familiar with legal filing, and my instructors often spoke highly of the notes I took in class – I had a reputation for always being prompt, professional, and structured in exactly the same way I would be at Westbrook & Holt.

As a recent graduate paralegal, I’m so excited to sink my teeth into my first paralegal role, and I believe that my education and experience will allow me to serve the firm exceptionally well. I’d love the opportunity to explain how I’ll work to become an asset to the firm.

I’ve recently graduated from Miami University with my Paralegal Studies certificate. During my time in education, I ran a successful side-business selling study guides for exams. Because my notes were always clear, on-topic, and well thought out, my peers began asking for help studying. I decided to put my notes together in separate files, and the rest is history! I think it really speaks to the level of detail and effort I put into everything I do, but especially my work. I know I’d bring that same effort and initiative to Whitefeather & Associates.

I was also heavily involved in extracurricular activities during high school and college, and I believe that this experience especially prepared me for a career as a paralegal. I was often responsible for organizing events within the community, from canned food drives to society dances and other events. I absolutely loved all of these experiences, and almost always received excellent feedback from teachers and peers alike. My organizational skills, as well as my communication and people skills, further strengthens my belief that I would be an excellent addition to Whitefeather & Associates.
