Clint Heiden

Frustrated with the world of recruiting, Clint joined with Phillip Merrick to try and solve a broken tool in the job search process for both professionals and companies: the resume. In just under two years, Clint took VisualCV from concept through to successful market launch.
Prior to VisualCV, Clint was CEO of The Heiden Group, a highly successful recruiting firm for venture-backed and global technology companies, placing executives into vital leadership and revenue generating roles including CIO, CTO, VP of Sales, and VP of Business Development for hundreds of clients. The Heiden Group also specializes in building national sales teams from the ground up for a number of organizations, ensuring human capital investments drive rapid and profitable growth within companies.
Clint has over seventeen years of executive experience including a full scope of P&L, finance, HR, sales, marketing, business development and operations management. He has delivered over $8 billion in organic revenue growth for the organizations that he has led. Clint is an expert at assembling high performance sales teams and has orchestrated over fifteen successful integrations for companies such as Cable & Wireless America, Exodus, Qwest, MCI and UUNET.
Guy Kawasaki

Check out Guy's VisualCV! Guy Kawasaki is founding partner and entrepreneur-in-residence at Garage Technology Ventures and co-founder of Nononina (the owner of Alltop.com and Truemors.com). He is also a columnist for Entrepreneur Magazine. Previously, he was an Apple Fellow at Apple Computer, Inc. Guy is the author of eight books including The Art of the Start, Rules for Revolutionaries, How to Drive Your Competition Crazy, Selling the Dream, and The Macintosh Way. Guy is a specialist in marketing, evangelism, new-product introduction, and keynote speeches. He has a BA from Stanford University and an MBA from UCLA as well as an honorary doctorate from Babson College.

Mary Dridi
Check out Mary's VisualCV!Most recently Mary served as CFO of BuySafe, a leading trust and safety company for e-commerce. Previously she was CFO, executive vice president, and treasurer of webMethods, a leading provider of business integration and optimization software. During her seven-year tenure at webMethods, Mary had responsibility for all aspects of finance, including accounting, budgeting and planning, and investor relations.  Mary played a significant role in webMethods' IPO.

Mary has been named CFO of the Year by the Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC), the Maryland Tech Council and the DC Tech Council.
Jeremy Epstein
Software AG and Independent Security Consultant

With more than twenty years of experience in information security research, product development, and consulting, Jeremy is an internationally recognized expert in computer security. He’s led teams that developed one of the first multi-level secure UNIX systems, the first high assurance multi-level secure windowing system, and the first Orange Book evaluation of a network operating system (Novell NetWare). Jeremy has been involved in standards committees that have developed SAML, XKMS, and POSIX Security. He’s published more than 20 articles in peer-refereed conferences and journals, and he was program chair of the Annual Computer Security Applications Conference for 3 years. He’s served on NSF proposal review panels and advised DARPA on research directions. Jeremy leads the product security department at Software AG, a leading provider of business integration software, where he’s responsible for meeting security requirements around Service Oriented Architectures for many of the world’s largest corporations and government agencies. He led the team that earned the first Common Criteria evaluation for a business integration product. Jeremy is also a consultant to several state governments on security of electronic voting systems, and has served on technical advisory boards for a half dozen security startups.
Heather German

A seasoned HR executive whose career spans multiple industries, she is responsible for directing and managing global HR operations, administration and strategic organization development. Heather has over fifteen years senior human resource management experience specializing in business psychology.

Formerly, Heather was the vice president of Human Resources & Administration at webMethods (now Software AG) where she directed global HR operations for 30+ team who delivered world-class recruiting initiatives for services & sales, management training, team-building, performance management, employee rewards, strategic organizational development and merger and acquisition integration.
Rob Hopewell

Throughout his career, he has held positions overseeing various sales organizations with revenue ranging from $2M to $1B, and has consistently ignited rapid revenue growth. Rob has helped integrate multiple sales organizations, including Digital Island, Exodus, CWA, SAVVIS, UUNET, and CompuServe, and has delivered millions of dollars of revenue through multiple sales channels. Before The Heiden Group, Rob was VP of Sales Strategy, Operations, and Alliances for Cable & Wireless America.
Jeffrey Johnson

He currently serves as the Senior Vice President and General Manager for Iron Mountain’s Government Services business unit where he is working to develop Iron Mountain’s Government Services business in North America, Europe, and select South American countries. Additionally, Jeff is providing leadership and support to other Enterprise initiatives as part of the Executive Management team. Prior to Iron Mountain, he founded a private equity venture, Acremus, LLC, offering electronic records management services to Global 2000 clients. He brought the company to profitability and negotiated its sale. Prior to Accremus, Jeff worked for Accenture, VeriSign, Inc., Verizon, META Group, EDS and Eastman Kodak.

Jeff currently serves on multiple Advisory Boards and is the Chairman of the Board for iCompassion.org, a 501c3 non-profit online web 2.0 health education service.

Dr. Terrence LaPier

Terrence LaPier is a faculty member of the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School where he teaches top-rated courses in Entrepreneurial Leadership, Venture Capital, Private Equity, and International Real Estate in the MBA and Executive MBA programs. He founded Pierpont in 1996 with several of his Wharton colleagues and is a senior partner. Terrence is also the Chairman and CEO of Wellington Funeral Services, one of Pierpont's portfolio companies.

During the last 20 years, Terrence has had extensive experience in creating value for enterprises, working with venture capital, private equity, management buyouts, and startups. He has been a principal in and/or adviser to more than eighty venture capital and private equity transactions, market entry strategies, joint ventures, alliances, corporate rollups, M&A transactions, and real estate investments in the United States and internationally.

He received his Ph.D. in International Economic Comparison from the London School of Economics and graduated from Wharton's Advanced Management Program. Terrence received his bachelors' degree from Syracuse University's Maxwell School. He currently serves on several corporate boards, as well as, Syracuse University's Chancellor's Council and the Board of Advisors of its Sports Program. His book, Competition, Growth Strategies and the Globalization of Entrepreneurial Firms is widely read at Wharton, MIT, Johns Hopkins and other business schools worldwide.
Caren DeWitt Merrick
Check out Caren's VisualCV! Caren DeWitt Merrick is a veteran of Internet and online businesses, and is a partner with Bibury Partners, an early-stage investment and advisory firm. Caren has been acting CMO for VisualCV in the months leading up to the launch. Previously, she co-founded and was Vice President of Marketing for webMethods, Inc. where she established and led the marketing organization, including brand, media relations, lead generation, partner marketing, conferences and sales support that played a key role in transforming the company from a basement start-up to a worldwide publicly traded company.

Prior to webMethods, Caren was director of AOL.com where she managed the initial transition of the website from a corporate presence to an Internet search portal.  Caren is on the Advisory Board for CharityWorks, and is co-founder and chairman of the 118 Foundation, which makes grants in housing, education, and healthcare to nonprofits that assist working poor families in the U.S. and also invests in nonprofits that offer microenterprise and educational assistance in developing countries.
