I am thrilled to begin my ninth year teaching and designing at Saint Louis University. The challenging B.A. theatre program is an ideal training environment --the perfect mix of intense and creative productions augmented by the distinguished liberal arts tradition of Saint Louis University. I am proud to share my enthusiasm and love of theatre along with my experience in stagecraft, design and special effects. My teaching philosophy is simple - you can never stop learning and exploring.

Worked in the Yale Rep Scene Shop as a scenic carpenter and took three classes each semester.

Notable experiences:

I was an Assistant Technical Director for the Yale Rep’s american premiere production of Master Harold and the Boys written and directed by Athol Fugard, which toured to Philadelphia and then to Broadway.

I worked at Hudson Scenic, a commercial Broadway shop for two weeks at the conclusion of the school year.

Google SketchUp

SketchUp is an excellent intuitive 3D design tool. The free software is a great tool to quickly create a 3D stage design utilizing the numerous free objects and designs that are availble in Google's 3D warehouse. I have generated very quick architecture and exhibit walk-throughs with SketchUp's scene views.
