Information Technology Skills

I train educators and students in the effective integration and use of various technologies including iPads, mobile devices, multimedia webtools, Skype, global collaboration projects, Google Plus, webinars, video conferencing platforms, social bookmarking tools, developing Wikis, setting up Nings, virtual learning environments, and much more. Check out my various slide presentations on SlideShare which have been featured various times, http://www.slideshare.net/ShellTerrell/presentations. I believe in student-centered, hands-on, kinesthetic, and collaborative/cooperative learning. In my trainings, students and teachers move around and learn to create content that promotes Higher Order Thinking Skills. The training is goal-oriented where participants are challenged to accomplish goals with the technology. View an example of my recent 30 Goals Challenge iPad Training for teachers in Nebraska
