Outcome: Embed sustainability principles in to major projects from inception to completion thus reducing environmental impacts for the project lifecycle.  Reduced energy consumption, resource use and water use for clients resulting in financial and environmental savings.

Played a focal role in establishing a joint venture with Greening Australia QLD to develop a service in conjunction with“ Breathe Easy” programme. The concept to help business and industry balance their emission in a 3 step programme, namely measure, reduce and offset. Measure energy use throughout business, identify effective ways and means to reduce emissions and eventually offset those emissions that are uneconomical to reduce. The organisation would measure and reduce emissions for business and Greening Australia would offset through landscape transformation and biodiversity nurturing (not just planting trees).

Served as Part-time Lecturer and Tutor, Sustainability, Bio-energy, Climate Change at University of Queensland, St. Lucia, Brisbane.

Acted as Part-time Lecturer and Tutor, Sustainability, Bio-energy, Climate Change at Griffith University, Nathan, Brisbane.

Served as guest speaker at international conferences and working groups for Asian Productivity Organisation (APO).

Outcome: Effectively and Efficiency reduce environmental impacts of clients and subsequently saving GHG emissions by a total of 600,000 tonnes per annum and approximately $3.5 million in savings.
